We offer a full in-house laboratory for rapid and accurate diagnosis, which is especially important in emergency situations. Our licensed technicians are trained in performing complete blood counts, serum chemistry analysis, urinalysis, fecal exams, ear and skin cytologies and skin scrapes for parasites. For more detailed diagnostics, we utilize nationally certified reference laboratories. This allows us to perform biopsies, cultures, allergy testing, and much more. 

We also offer affordable Wellness Labwork packages which can be an economical way to gather information about your pet's health for little more than the regular cost of yearly parasite checks. 

The Animal Hospital of Waynesboro has a modern, on-site radiology unit for taking high quality x-rays (radiographs) to aid in your pet’s diagnosis. We have a second unit designed specifically for dental x-rays. Our ultrasound machine is an excellent tool for evaluating internal organs and their structure, and for obtaining guided biopsy samples.     
 
If your pet requires hospitalization or treatment, the Animal Hospital of Waynesboro’s intensive care area can provide oxygen therapy, an incubator, IV fluids with a pump for precise administration, feeding tubes and urinary catheters. Our highly trained and caring staff can administer the treatments prescribed by our doctors.
