SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we work primarily by appointment. Please call in advance to make an appointment for your pet to be seen. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delays may occur. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.
For your convenience, "drop-off" appointments are available. Usually we will ask you to leave your pet with us early in the morning so our doctors can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. You may pick up your pet later in the day. The doctor will keep you informed of any causes for concern and of any recommended treatments beyond those initially authorized.
We perform surgical and dental procedures by apointment Monday through Friday. We ask you to leave your pet with us between 7:30 am and 8:30 am the morning of the surgery. Depending upon the nature of the surgery, your pet may spend one or more nights with us. We ask that your pet not have any food after 6:00 pm the night before the procedure. Your pet may have water throughout the night.
Special pick up time for boarders is Sunday between 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date.
PATIENT ARRIVAL
Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet. We recommend that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the waiting room.
