The Animal Hospital of Waynesboro was started in 1981 by Dr. Robert Partridge.  The current facility was completed and opened for service in 1989.  In October of 2008 Dr. Greg Lorenz took over as the new owner and Director of Medicine of the Animal Hospital of Waynesboro.  Dr. Partridge retired at the end of 2008. 

The Animal Hospital of Waynesboro is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care.   We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray and ultrasound capabilities, a hospitalization area, grooming services and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas. 

We are also one of a select group of veterinary hospitals in the entire state that has been awarded accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Association.  

Since 1991 we have regularly undergone inspections by AAHA to ensure that we comply with the association's standards of care, which are recognized around the world as the benchmark for quality care in veterinary medicine.  These standards cover nearly every aspect of our hospital, including surgery, pharmacy, laboratory, exam facilities, pet health records, cleanliness, emergency services, dental and nursing care, diagnostic imaging, and anesthesiology.  Approximately 15 percent of animal hospitals in North America are accredited by AAHA.

Our accreditation by AAHA is one way of demonstrating our commitment to excellence and we are very proud of this achievement.  The welfare of our clients and pets is the focus of all staff members at the Animal Hospital of Waynesboro.  Our job is not only to provide your pet with excellent medical care when he or she isn't feeling well, but also to work with you so that your best friend lives a happy and healthy life.  Our entire team is dedicated to meeting the needs of your pet in a caring environment.
